About Pasadena, TX
The city of Pasadena, Texas is a large suburb of the Houston metropolitan area. In fact, with an estimated population of nearly 150,000 people, Pasadena is one of the twenty largest cities in all of Texas. The festival features a barbeque cook-off, a mud volleyball tournament, a beauty pageant, live music, a strawberry eating contest, and the highly anticipated strawberry parade.
Every great Texas town isn’t without a rodeo, and Pasadena is no exception. The annual Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo features a number of events and activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Pasadena rodeo isn’t just a horse and pony show.
